Connecting Box

You'll be able to connect the Box integration to Lumos and resolve common issues that arise when connecting.

Required plan & roles

There's no minimum plan requirement to connect the Box integration.

Your Box user needs to be an Admin to connect the integration.

The Box integration will ask for the following scopes via OAuth during setup.

Instructions

1. Find the Box card in your Lumos integrations. (Reconnect or add new)

2. Choose the "Integration with Transfer Data" option (choose "Default" if you don't want Lumos to transfer files to another employee during deprovisioning).

3. Click "Connect Box".

4. Log into Box and click "Grant access to Box".

Troubleshooting

Box shows an error message saying "You cannot authorize Lumos".

Problem: The Box account you're using to connect the integration isn't a Box Admin.

Solution: Reconnect the Box integration with an Admin account.
