You'll be able to connect the Atlassian integration to Lumos and resolve common issues that arise when connecting.

Required plan & roles

Your organization needs the Atlassian Guard product in your Atlassian plan to connect this integration.

Your Atlassian user needs to be an Organization Admin to connect this integration.

Instructions

In Atlassian

1. Log in to Atlassian at admin.atlassian.com.

2. Choose the correct Atlassian organization, if you have multiple.

3. Follow the instructions in this article to create an Atlassian API key for Lumos and save the value temporarily, along with the Organization ID shown.

Atlassian API keys expire after a week, by default. It's best to extend the expiration date of the API key to one year, to prevent unexpected authentication issues.

In Lumos

1. Find the Atlassian card in your Lumos integrations (Reconnect or add new)

2. Enter the Organization ID provided to you by Atlassian when you created the API key in the Organization ID field.

3. Paste your Atlassian API key in the API Key field.

4. Click Connect Atlassian.
