Why is my Atlassian integration in an error state?

Atlassian API keys have a maximum expiration date of 1 year. If your Atlassian integration is an error state in Lumos and nothing has changed, verify whether or not your API key has expired and update it in Lumos. See📄 Connecting Atlassian

I've connected the Atlassian integration, but why are there no users?

If your organization doesn't have the Atlassian Guard product as part of your Atlassian subscription, you'll be able to connect the integration, but Atlassian returns no user data via the API.

What's the difference between the Atlassian and the Jira integration in Lumos?

The Atlassian integration can be used to understand how your employees are assigned to and using your Atlassian products as a whole. The Jira integration is largely used to log Jira tickets as part of your critical access workflows. More info on our Jira integration and capabilities can be found here:📄 Jira Capabilities

Why am I getting an error when trying to remove a user's account?

Atlassian prevents other applications from deprovisioning access to an account once you have SCIM enabled with your identity provider in Atlassian.

Removals in Atlassian once you have SCIM enabled need to happen through your identity provider.

Why does Lumos report a suspended Atlassian user as Active?

When Lumos gets the status of an Atlassian user, we get it from the same data source that populates the Managed Accounts view in Atlassian. So effectively, Lumos is showing you Atlassian Managed Accounts.

This often differs from the User Management tab in Atlassian. If a user has no product access, Atlassian reports their status on the User Management tab as "Suspended". However, Atlassian doesn't provide an API endpoint to retrieve the user status shown on the User Management tab, so we show the Managed Account status.

If you use the Product Access column in Lumos for Atlassian, you can see which users have no product access and can filter to those users accordingly.
