How do I approve an access request on someone's behalf?

Problem

I need to approve an access request for someone, and I'm not the assigned approver for that request. How can I approve it on their behalf?

Solution

If you're a Lumos Admin, you can override approval by following the steps below. See📄 Lumos Roles

1. Go to the All Open Tasks tab in the Lumos Task Center

2. Find the app request you want to approve and hover over the card

3. Click the Override Approval button that appears to approve it. You can also click Deny to end the request, or you can click on the card to see and edit the request details before approving.

If an approval is overridden, you'll see this in the Lumos Activity Log.
