How To Reset a Twilio Auth Token

Purpose: The purpose of this document is to outline the steps taken in Twilio to reset the Twilio Auth Token. This is needed when Twilio receiving errors due to Twilio rejecting your numbers.

Actual Steps to reset the auth token:

  1. Navigate to Twilio and login to the account you have provided us the SID and Auth token for

  2. Select the Account dropdown in the top right corner

  3. Select "API Keys & Tokens

  4. Request a secondary token

  5. Select "Request Token"

  6. Select "Promote to Primary"

  7. Select the check box and "Promote Token"
