Last updated: October 24, 2024

Welcome to our AWS implementation guide for the bootcamp. This document outlines the key steps to get your SaaS product live on AWS Marketplace. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth setup process.

Please complete steps 1 and 2 before scheduling a call with the Implementation Team for Step 3 & 4.

1. Clazar Account Setup (Estimated time: 20 minutes)

  • Accept the Clazar invite sent to your email

  • Sign in using the provided link (supports Google or Microsoft sign-in)

  • Invite your team members to Clazar

  • Connect your Slack account (optional)

2. AWS Marketplace Account Setup (Estimated time: 1 hour)

Follow the steps to register as a seller

  • Prepare your tax and VAT information

  • Have your US bank account details ready

3. Clazar Cloud Setup (Estimated time: 30 minutes)

4. Listing and Registration Page Setup (Estimated time: 1 hour 15 minutes)

  • Review and approve the draft listing created by Clazar

  • Verify content with your marketing team

  • Finalize pricing with your internal team

  • Customize the registration page according to your brand guidelines

  • Submit the completed listing to Clazar

5. SaaS Test Account and Demo Video

Create a video demonstrating the customer journey after purchase, including:

  • Information provided to customers post-purchase

  • Login process for first-time users

  • A brief walkthrough of the product interface

Please note that AWS only checks the buyer flow and verifies that you are selling a SaaS product. A brief video covering the above points will be enough.

Next Steps

Once you've completed these steps, our team will review your submission and guide you through the final stages of going live on AWS Marketplace. If you have any questions during this process, please don't hesitate to reach out to your Clazar representative.

Good luck with your AWS Marketplace journey!
