Connecting DocuSign

You'll be able to connect the DocuSign integration to Lumos and resolve common issues that arise when connecting.
Required plan & roles
Your organization needs the DocuSign Admin product to connect this integration.
Your DocuSign user needs to be at least a Users Administrator to connect this integration.
To check if your organization has DocuSign Admin and you're an Organization Admin:
Click on the dialpad in the upper left
Click on Admin
You should be able to see the “Users” tile on the left of the page
If you want to confirm, log into DocuSign and follow the click path of the animation below.

If you can’t see the “Admin” tab or “Users” tile, please reach out to your DocuSign admin. Your DocuSign subscription must include the Admin product to use the connection.
Scopes
When connecting DocuSign, we ask for the following scopes via OAuth. More info on the scopes can be found in DocuSign's documentation.
Scope | Required | Description |
extended | ✅ | Used when requesting an access token using Authorization Code Grant. It allows Lumos to be able to keep your data refreshed by having a longer-living refresh token (30 days). |
organization_read | ✅ | Required to get lists of organizations and organization data. |
user_read | ✅ | Required to read user data. |
user_write | ✅ | Required to update, create, or delete users. |
account_read | ✅ | Required to get account data. |
Instructions
1. Find the DocuSign card in your Lumos integrations (Reconnect or add new)
2. Click on the DocuSign card, then click Connect DocuSign in the pop-up.
3. Log into DocuSign, then click Allow Access.
Troubleshooting
I cannot connect the DocuSign integration.
Your DocuSign plan must include the Docusign Admin product, and your DocuSign user must be an Organization Admin.
If you receive an error before you can get to the DocuSign login, clear cookies in your browser and try again.
User is an Organization Admin and cannot be automatically deprovisioned by Lumos.
Organization Admins cannot be deprovisioned via the DocuSign API and must be removed in the DocuSign console.
