Why do I see more Users in Lumos than there are employees at my company?

So, you hooked up your email provider and/or IdP, and you're looking at the User table and thinking, "this number doesn't look very accurate" 🤨

Why is this happening?
Well, it's because we're showing you ALL users.
As a system of record, we even will show you users that are marked as inactive (and if anyone leaves the company after you connect Lumos, we'll continue to store them in the Users table as an inactive employee with No Access).Â
We also will include service accounts (which may not be actual employees at your company).

If you do want to just see Active Users, you can filter the Users column by Employment Status:
