Connecting Ironclad
Last updated: October 7, 2024
After this article...
You'll be able to connect the Ironclad integration to Lumos and resolve common connection issues.
Required plan & roles
Your Ironclad subscription must include the API package to connect the integration.
Your Ironclad user must belong to a group with API Management and Users and Groups Administration permissions to create the API token needed for the integration. The API Management access can be removed once the API token has been created.
Restricting access to the integration user
Ironclad’s access tokens inherit the permissions of the users that create them.
If you want to restrict the access that your API key has to your Ironclad contract data, you can create the Ironclad API token for Lumos using a service account, then downgrade the Ironclad user's access before connecting the integration.
More info on how to restrict access to contract workflows in Ironclad can be found here.
