How Lumos Reuses Access Review Data
Last updated: October 7, 2024
Background
If you're duplicating an existing access review (see📄 Duplicating an Access Review) or creating a recurring review (see 📄 Scheduling an Access Review), you may be wondering what data and settings get copied over from the previous review.
This article describes exactly how Lumos copies data between access reviews.
When is data reused?
When you duplicate an existing access review (see 📄 Duplicating an Access Review), Lumos copies the data & settings from the review you're duplicating at the time of duplication.
When Lumos copies data from a previous review for an upcoming recurring review (see 📄 Scheduling an Access Review), the info that was in place before the last review's launch date is copied over.
For recurring reviews, ad hoc changes made to the last review's settings after the last review's launch date are not copied over.
If you made changes to the last review's settings after the launch date, we recommend making those changes prior to your next review's launch date.
We recommend doing a review of each app after duplicating to ensure that accounts are assigned per your internal policies, and that column visibility for reviewers matches your preferences.
