Connecting Datadog

You'll be able to connect the Datadog integration to Lumos and resolve common issues that arise when connecting.
Required plan & roles
You need at least the Datadog Pro plan to connect this integration.
Your Datadog user needs to be a Datadog Admin to connect this integration.
Instructions
In Datadog
1. Generate and temporarily save an API key with the minimum required scopes.
2. Generate and temporarily save a new Application key.
In Lumos
1. Find the Datadog card in your Lumos integrations (Reconnect or add new)
2. Enter the API key you created in Datadog into the API Key field.
3. Enter the Application key you created in Datadog into the Application Key field.
4. Select the region of your Datadog tenant in the Region field. (How to find your region)
5. Click Connect.
Scopes
Our Datadog integration requires the following scopes to view and manage your users.
Scope | Required | Description |
| ✅ | Disable users, manage user roles, manage SAML-to-role mappings, and configure logs restriction queries. |
Troubleshooting
I can't connect the Datadog integration.
Make sure you've selected the correct region for your tenant, and that your API key has at least the user_access_manage scope tied to it.
