Overview

Our Slack integration lets you receive timely notifications on activity across your workspace. Today, we deliver the following notifications automatically:

1. A comment is left on a task you are an assignee of

2. You are mentioned in a comment on any task, even if you are not an assignee of the task

3. A task you are reviewing is prepared and it is ready for your review

4. A task you prepared was returned by the reviewer

5. A reconciliation you submitted was automatically reset due to a balance change

6. A daily digest summarizing your overall close progress and any overdue/open tasks for the day

In addition to Slack, these same notifications and daily digest are also available via email.

Connecting Slack

1. Visit Settings > Integrations

2. Choose the Notifications tab

3. Select "Add to Slack" and login to your Slack workspace

4. You will now see a new "Numeric" app in the Apps section of Slack; notifications will be delivered here!

Enabling Email Notifications

1. Visit Settings > Integrations

2. Choose the Notifications tab

3. Turn on Email Notifications and select notification preferences

Managing Notification Preferences

With Slack connected or email notifications enabled, you can choose whether you'd like to receive a daily digest or not from Settings > Integrations -> Notifications.
