Connecting Asana

You'll be able to connect the Asana integration to Lumos and resolve common issues that arise when connecting the integration.
Required plan & roles
You need at least the Asana Premium plan to connect this integration.
Your Asana user should be a workspace Admin and have access to the admin console.
Scopes
The Asana integration uses the following scopes.

Instructions
1. Log into Asana at app.asana.com.
2. Find the workspace you want to connect to Lumos.
3. Navigate to the admin console (instructions are here).
4. Go to the Settings menu in the upper left corner of the admin console.
5. Copy the Organization/Workspace ID from the URL in Asana.
For example, the URL "https://app.asana.com/admin/119770928333333/settings" has an Organization ID of "119770928333333".
The Organization ID in the URL and the Domain ID in Asana can be different. Please use the one in the URL!
6. Find the Asana tile in your Lumos integrations (reconnect or add new), paste the value from the last step into the Organization / Workspace ID field, then click "Connect Asana".
Troubleshooting
Your account doesn't have the required permissions to access integrate with Asana.
Problem: Your Asana integration credentials are invalid.
Solution: Reconnect the Asana integration in Lumos.
Your account doesn't have access to the provided workspace id. This can be a problem with Asana API or with your account permissions, check if you have access to the workspace and the ID is correct, and try again.
Problem: Your Asana user does not have admin access to the Organization / Workspace ID you entered.
Solution: Reconnect the integration using an Asana user account that has admin access to the workspace in your integration.
Your account isn't part of the workspace. To connect Asana you need to use an account that is part of the workspace.
Problem: Your Asana integration user is not part of the workspace configured in your integration.
Solution: Reconnect the integration with an admin user that belongs to the workspace in your integration.
