Clazar Salesforce Integration Using Integration User

SFDC Integration with Salesforce API Integration User License (Recommended)
Pre-requisites Activities done in Salesforce
Please make sure you have Salesforce administrator access.
Create or Update Users. Navigate to Setup > Users > Users. You can create a new user or use an existing one to connect to Clazar.
1. Creating a New User
Click on “New User.”
Fill in the required details (e.g., Name, Email).
Assign the user profile as “System Administrator” or “Minimum Access - API Only Integrations”.
2. Permission Sets Configuration
Navigate to Permission Sets:
Setup > Permission Sets.
Create a New Permission Set by clicking on “New.”
Name the permission set (e.g., “Clazar Integration”).
Select the appropriate User License (Salesforce API Integration).
Assign Permissions:
Edit the newly created permission set.
Navigate to Object Settings and assign the following permissions:
Repeat the above step for other objects too(Contacts, Opportunities, Leads and Quote)
3. Assign Permission Set to User:
Go back to the user detail page.
Click on “Permission Set Assignments” > “Edit Assignments.”
Select the newly created permission set (e.g., “Clazar Integration”) and Clazar Salesforce Integration User then hit save.
Note: The clazar package includes a permission set named “Clazar Custom Objects Permissions” specifically for custom object access.
Connecting Clazar to Salesforce
Navigate to Clazar App:
Open the Clazar application.
2. Salesforce Instance URL:
Enter the Salesforce instance URL where the package is installed.
Use the Salesforce instance’s custom domain if applicable.
3. Connection Setup:
Follow the prompts in Clazar to authenticate and connect the Salesforce account.
